Being better is going to mean something different for all of us. I like that it can evolve. When I was in high school it was: be a better dancer, be a better friend, be a better daughter, and be a better student. Now some things will stay the same, be a better friend and daughter, and some will be new: be a better wife, be healthier, keep learning, have a better attitude, be better at work, be a better dog mom, and many more to come. (One is to be better at grammar, I'm worried about my punctuation in my last sentence.)
Not to give away my exact age, but it has been over ten years since I was a junior in high school and unfortunately I can’t say I’ve always lived by the “be better” creed. I hope sharing this with my best friends will help us all improve ourselves and who knows, maybe we will inspire others to better themselves as well.
